Something new is happening down at The Preserved Seed in Chilliwack!  After four years of meeting, greeting, serving and getting to know many of the folks who call this place home, we will be changing our name to reflect our roots and hope a little more clearly -

The Yellow Deli?

Forty years ago when we first began together as a people, one of the first things we did in order to be together and support ourselves was open a little deli.  We didn't have much, but we had each other, we had vision, and we had faith.  As doors began to open and we began to learn about God's love for us, we saw Him providing for us through channels we didn't expect.  One of those provisions was the paint we needed for the outside of the deli.  It was a donation of cheery and inviting yellow paint - thus, The Yellow Deli!

Why here, now?

That simple devotion and trust is something we have always recognized as a way of being that God could bless, and that is really what we want to share; the simple joy and love we have found together serving Him.  We want to honor the Spirit that leads us to make a place where you can come and feel comfortable, cared for, and taken care of.  It's what is in our hearts, and we think The Yellow Deli is the perfect name to represent that simple, loving intention.  We hope you'll feel the same way when you come in!!
