We are a network of communities of people living, working, and learning together.  We also run  farms in both South Slocan (Mt. Sentinel Farm) and Chilliwack (Fairfield Community Farm).  A lot of our ingredients come from the gardens there, and we are all glad to call these places home.  We live to manifest the love that we have received from one another and our Creator.  It is our hope that you will experience some of this when you come to see us either at one of our cafes or farms - you're welcome at both!

Our History

As a network of spiritual communities, we began 35 years ago.  As a cafe locally, we began in Nelson nine years ago with the purchase of the house the cafe is now in.  In the last eight years we have seen the growth of the cafe business, the establishing of Mt. Sentinel Farm, and much increase in our community. 

Our second location, in Chilliwack, has now been open for a little over two years.  Founded on the same principles and motivated by the same earnest desire to provide you a place and a space to be where you can find a little refuge from the daily rush so many have come to know as their daily life, we continue looking for ways to enhance your experience with us.

Who We Are

We are made up of people from all walks of life and a wide range of social backgrounds and experinces.  We are learning to stick together and help each other through the process of healing that begins when people come together through the spirit of true love.  There are no walls around our community and all are welcome to come and visit with us.  It is our heart that all could live the life we have found, and offer it accordingly.  For more information about who we are and what we believe please visit our website www.twelvetribes.org
